Two homosexuals in Iran are in danger of being hanged 

To All Human Rights Organizations 

According to the news that we just received, the Islamic republic of Iran has sentenced two gays to death in the city of Arak  in Iran for the crime of homosexuality. The two gays whose names have been introduced as Farbod Mostaar and Ahmad Chooka are kept in a jail in Araq city and the Islamic Republic has announced that these two prisoners will be hanged to death in city square of AraK on 28^th of August. 

After hanging two youth in city of Mashhad for being homosexuals, there have been wide international protests, and many Human Rights organizations condemned this cruel act of the Islamic Republic. 

The protests were so widely spread (throughout the world) that the European Committee had to react and condemn such sentences. 

We have just received the news that two homosexuals have been sentenced to be hanged in Arak. This news has not yet been published in any news papers or publications in Iran. We have been heard it from people who contacted us and the Iranian homosexual organizations. 

We strongly condemn such an act of brutality of the Islamic Republic. Meanwhile, we want these sentences to be dropped immediately.

We urge all human rights organizations and the European Committee and the Amnesty International to protest against these unjust and inhuman sentences right away and put pressure on Iran to overturn these sentences.

The International Committee against Execution of which the Iranian homosexual Organization is a member, will put all its effort into stopping these violent acts. 

We should not let the criminal Islamic Republic convict people for having sexual relationships that is a completely private act. These are medieval attitudes to which they should receive the harshest reactions from within Iran and the world. Protest against these hanging sentences.
